Hi,
Does anyone know where is the transmisson dip stick on this car. How do I check it?. Also I accidentaly mixed coolants, I toped up with green coolant and previously it was filled with red coolant. Does that effect the engine, and do you recommend a coolant flush?. Please advise FJT or any other tech.
Thanks

for checking the trani .. raise trani temp to 38 degrees celcuis or 100 fer. and on the oil pan there is a 22mm bolt.. remove the inner allen key not the 22mm bolt ..at this temp.. and it shud drizzle out.. if not then add some thru right side of the tail extension there is a bigger allen key socket that you wud have to remove... about 2 inches from the the trani flange. put more fluid until it drizzles.. out the center of the 22mm bolt.. at the proper temp.

I thought you drove those slush boxes until they blew up and they just threw a few thousand dollars at them?
Jag-Genius, if everyone kept their fluids in good shape, you would be out of business hehehe...

yeah but some people are cheap.. and dont wanna spend the big money on the fluids.. a guy with a new xk with 80 k told me to flush all his fluids.. Diff ,trani, brakes coolant engine, and wanted all the trani fluid in the trani changed.. and i said thats expensive.. he said just do it.. and right before i did it i gave him a quote and it was 2 k and he shit himself.

lol....
Funny...I have people driving Xs that will pay 5k to fix something, but a guy in a 07 XKR looses it when he has to pay $400 for his 20k.....lol
