1979 XJL6 11

A 1979 Jaguar inline 6 with the over head cams. Dose it have lifter like a push rod chevy motor if yes are thy solid or highdrolic or solid.

Officially, they have "tappets."  Solid tappets that are shimmed per tappet.  The tappet sets into a tappet guide which must be machined inside and out to fit the head the individual tappet.

thanks i had a 69 camaro that had solid lifter sounds all most the same.
