G'Day, I'm new to this so please bear with me. I have a 1985 XJS that hasn't been used for a while and had a flat battery. A friend was helping me get it started, with a jump start, and inadvertantly conected the wrong terminals (Bad mistake).
It now wont start, and I've checked all fuses, and fuseable links, and everything seemes OK, I've also changed the I.C.U.
With the ignition on , I am getting power to the coil (only 11.8 Volts), but no spark at the plugs.
Have checked the Ignition Amplifier Module and it has no power out, could anyone give any other suggestions, or is the I. A. Module stuffed.
Thanks Murrumbung2

check and see if your getting injectors pulse.. if not then sounds like your amplifier is done.. check to make sure your getting power and ground going into amp.. that amp is about $500 but there is a slight alternative..

Thanks for your replys.
Since I posted my problem, have pulled the Ign Amplifier Mod apart and found the major part, (which tests stuffed ) is "GM 613 3M11".
Does this part sound familiar, and can anyone tell me if its still available.
