I recently purchased a 1989 Jaguar XJ6 and the radio wasn't working when I bought the car. I currently have a stereo with a 7inch fold out monitor and built in DVD monitor installed in my Saab Turbo that I will be selling soon and want to use the stereo in the Jag. I know that I will have to put the car in gear in order to open and close the screen due to clearance issues with the shifter, but are there any other concerns that I should be aware of. Also is anyone aware of a wiring diagram for the stereo, I found a link through a google search but it is dead. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i've run into the same problem with my 88. cant find a harness adapter anywhere and the wires are all kinds of crazy colors.
