Help!!!
I have a Jaguar Van den Plas ,1999. The amber light came on and a message said "restricted performance". Can anyone tell me what this means? My industrial income just got cut off and I cannot afford a big repair bill at this time. ??Any help out there??

Hey Don,
Please post tech questions in the tech help, or XJ8 forum.
Restricted performance can come on for many problems. Brake switch, Throttle body....alot of things.
Autozone will scan the car for free....get the codes and repost results. We will be able to help you further from there.

Codes are the most helpful, but do the simplest first: check all the fuses!!
