Another question about my 1999 XJ8: I have had intermittent but annoying problems with stalling at speeds below 10 MPH - backing up, driving in parking lots, turning into parking spaces, etc. There seems to be no pattern as to when this happens (engine cold, engine warm, outside temperature, etc.). I will be driving along and all the indicator lights will come on with an "engine stalled" warning on the message panel. The car immediately starts afterward. I just had the spark plugs, the fuel and air filters replaced and a fuel injection cleaning, and the problem is still there. Any ideas as to what is going on or how to fix it?

Check the throttle body for build up around the throttle plate, clean it. Disconnect battery for a few minutes then let it idle till it
warms up.
Could also be a bad MAF sensor.
