I bought a used 2004 XJ8 with the regular sound system, which came without the 6 cd changer in the trunk. I managed to buy a changer over eBay and when it came, there was no mounting bracket. Should anyone know where I might purchase one, I'd appreciate it!

Get one from a local dealer. They cost about $10 for each side, which is less than you'd pay second hand!
The parts are:
Left: C2C-20763, $10.30
Right: C2c-1549, $8.25

If it didnt have changer previously, you will need new D2B fiber optic cable also to accept the changer.

and you wud also need the vehicle's VID block to be changed to accept the new changer.
