The car needs fog lights to finish the front end

On most cars the fog lights are decorative ,dont worry
Even MB's  W140 didn't come with those either

I just like the look. My S type fogs don,t do much but I like the look so I thought the XF would look good. From what I have read the headlights kind of have a wide angle to them so Jag figured you don't need fogs.

I agree, i very much dislike the recent absesnce of fog's on many high end cars inluding the XF and BMWs M models! the audi LEDs r very sexy!

You've read right Kazsam. When I drive my XF at night I almost feel bad driving down side streets because I light up the houses on each side & I keep waiting for oncoming cars to flash their brights at me.

I like the look of fogs on some cars - personally I think Jag did the right thing for the XF.

Not sure how the oncoming traffic feels, but these xenon lights are wonderful from the drivers view. The ilumination pattern is wide and I feels provides better coverage than some other cars we have owned.  We had a Lexus RX 330 that had teribble coverage where I felt we easily "outdrove" the illumination.  Lexus has since corrected that is the subsequent RX 350

Have you noticed the grooves inside the headlight housings?
They are there for only one reason. When you drive along beside a wall, it looks like whiskers....LOL

Have you thought about the chrome side vents and mirrors? Or the iluminated tread plates? Makes everything else on the car pop. You have to see it to understand LOL

The interior is just as beautiful...it's going to be a challenge keeping the oyster seats clean...

Talking of keeping clean, I am going to post a picture of what I just did to an XF.

Just thought it would be fun to do and have the customer come see....lol.

There was an electrical concern with touchscreen. I traced the short....unfortunately...was behind the dash. Not a vehicle problem so much as a production PERSON problem. Wont be a common occurance.
The customer was very cool about it.....and I didn't have any bolts left over. First time for that job....hopefully the last one too. Not fun.

If you are in NY....LI, then I would have to make the assumption that you will be in So. Fl soon enough with everyone else from NY....lol.
I do come to Long Island periodically as I have family there. I don't know how far from you. Hauppauge.
Anyway....Jaguar is a fairly small community...so I am sure our paths will cross at some point.
