Headlamp assembly questions

I recently got my Jag back from the body shop.  I had hit a curb and bent a few rims when we had an ice storm.  I had both headlamps go out shortly after the accident before i got it fixed.  I replaced both with silverstars.  The left headlamp lasted about a week and went out.  I just put a regular lamp in.  I did notice that on both lights, I can easily move the inner lamp assembly that sits inside (that the lamp secures to).  Is there a spring inside or is it made this way?  I do notice my left lamp moving a bit when I hit a hard bump in the road.  I am hoping not to replace the entire assembly.  Thanks!

You can't fix it.

You need a new assembly.
