At the risk of looking stupid..... I have to ask this. Just bought a 2000 XJ8 VDP, which so far it seems in good condition.
The front seat headrests are set at passenger all the way down and driver all the way up. Pushing down or pulling up I can't move either one, are they powered up and down? I can't find anything about them in the handbook, and hate to push so hard that I break something.

The switch that is the recline motor is also the headrest switch. Pull it upward and the headrest should move.
