It appears my oil leak post is innacurate. After inspecting the car just now... I think my transfer case is the culprit. Damn.

Yeah, you need to get that fixed...fast.....one it runs dry...you will be looking at 2k to get fix/replaced..

Dealer said they'd fix or replace it under warranty. Appointment Monday...
Said i could have a loaner jag during the process. Hopefully an XKR!!!! Haha. In my dreams.

well heck, if it was me and it was still under warranty......drive it till the axle locks up! You'll get an whole new transfercase.....last you another 50k miles! lol

lol yeah... I specifically asked "its leaking pretty bad... will it even last until Monday?" and they said yup, its ok to drive.
So if it locks up then oh well new case. Hopefully I won't be dead.

had this happen the day my car payment was due... bought it used.
$1800 later, dealer cost!
out of warranty by mileage not time. Not a Happy GRRL!
