I don't think there is one in full production - you may have to get a custom super-charger made. If you were looking for power out of your X-Type, why didn't you get the R version, that had like 390hp or something like that - I saw it at the dealer when getting mine, it was so sick... very briefly, I thought about taking the down payment I had, combining it with my Corvette value and getting the 60K X-Type. Then I thought to myself, I must be crazy.

I hear ya.....the R type is the S type model...and i don't like the front end on that jag, besides, i paid 30k for mine, plus the 3k engine mod that nets me 300hp. I saved 30K so far.....lol
I coulda swore it was an X-Type that had the supercharger. However, the dealer could have been B.S-in me about the horsepower specs.

You can always buy just a turbo then have the piping made. It will be very expensive though. But the power games could be very high, enough to where your motor probably can't handle it...

To go turbo requires alot of work.
Is there enough room in the engine for the manifold, turbos, piping, etc.
Then if you use stock engine, you are limited by the compression ratio of the stock pistons.
You also have to look into fuel and also the EMS to control all of this.
Very costly venture

Oh yes, costly indeed. The fuel system would be rather easy because the stock motor won't handle the boost that would require a serious fuel system...I'm just more of a turbo than supercharger person...that is unless you can find a way to put a big 871 out the hood

You're also forgetting the high compression ratio. The 11.5 to 1 is extreamly high and running a turbo or supercharger at the normal 8 psi will probably blow the engine....serious engine mods are required.......so much for my idea. Nitros is ok, but i'm not ready for it.
I'm happy with the 35 I got from the Arden ECU flash, or Super chip as some may call it...
rock on!
