Unusually Large Center Bore......

I've been looking at wheels for my 2004 xj8.  I thought dimensions up to the following would fit:
Offset 37 to 47
wheels up to 21x9.5
tires up to 711x255mm

I found a set of Antera wheels (correct bolt pattern):
Offset 45
wheels - 19x8.5J
tires 245/35-19 that would bring my dimensions to 645x245mm

With that, the seller said they would fit the x-type and s-type, but not the xj8 because of a unusually large center bore and offset.  Is there an interferance in the back space, or is this a specific brand issue?

X-Type and 2004 XJ should have same hub dimensions. 

I'm starting to think the seller is mistakenly thinking that I'm talking about the pre-2004 xj8.  Did they have substantially different hub dimensions?  Thanks for the response FactJag.

Yes....98-2003 XJ and 97-2006 XK had same hubs...but different from their 2004+ XJ and 2007+ XK.

Alright, finally got the seller to check his facts and he was mistaken.  So, they will work.  I was starting to think I was losing it.
 
Now that I have it all straightened out, I'm not sure how much I like the wheels.

If you are not sure about the wheels....don't get them. Imulse buy for the car is always bad.
