Found this one Ebay while lookin for Mesh grilles for my X.

Lets wait for quil to photoshop it on your color car!  I for one, like it quite a bit, but it might look better if it were silver/chrome!

Not a mesh fan sorry lol .However the  lower end looks cool

Seems about expensive as the dealer.Get a price from the dealer and demand a discount.Tell them youre either in the trade, its for a car thats over 3 years old (if the dealer is part of the alliegence program) or youre a member of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club.
If youre not I can PM you my JEC member number if they need it for the discount.

Last time I asked the dealer that question they were talkin around £280 the pair!
I'll try again tomorrw and go down the 4 year old car Jaguar allegiance route and see what they say.

Jaguar dealer was more expensive by £156.07, even after 10% discount they were still £124.46 more!
I've had parts ( rear parking sensors ) from Adamesh before and they work fine, arrived quickly and were the cheapest option available.
I think if n when I go for it Adamesh will be the way to go for me.

Jim the Adamesh grill combo is black!
What about the XP kit much cheaper (£137 ish) and you can opt for either a polished stainless steel fiinish or a black finish but you will need to find stainless bolts to fit as they dont come with stainless bolts from what I have read.
If I updated mine I would go with polished stainless.

It is the black I'm after though mate as I'm not a fan of the chrome and with the Sport being de chromed I dont think it'd look good, not  for me anyway.
I'm still at the shopping around stage anyways and have to repaint my calipers yet, also have the leather dye comming too so that I can freshen up the interior a little too ( there's some light scuffing on the drivers bolster - common problem! ) as well as shopping for rims as well to replace the kerbed one / two and replace the space saver as well. So, got a lot goin on with the X at the minute!

Yeah I'm with you Jim...black is better for our sports...I think anyways...actually they'd all look good either way...hey jim try and find some pics of your color jag with a mesh grill and I'll make it black so you can see jim...if you wanted...

Need to get off my rump roast and make some for myself...can't find time for much of anything...add on top of that basketball league starts in a couple of weeks...man I'm screwed!  Not to mention the low tonight is supposed to be 30 degrees fahrenheit!

High today was like low 60s!

Thats the way its supposed to look.....lol
I think its suits the Sport much better than chrome.
Although for sure different coloured cars carry it off better than others...........red for example or maybe white, and certainly black for than really mean look.

Youre welcome  .You're right if you don't have chromes on your car then it may look it doesn't belong on your car lol

I dont have chrome either but think the chrome mesh is the way to go even on the sport models which is why perhaps its standard on new X Types now or soon.
It doesnt matter that there isnt chrome anywhere else I dont think.
Black looks like something is missing.
The chrome looks £££s which is perhaps why Jag are going to fit it as standard...perhaps from surverying customers opinions I would presume?

Hey Jim I'm with you no matter what on the black...if not black nothing shiny!  Thats why we buy the sports is it not?  Here's 04's x with both black...I was just trying to get you a pic with your car's color and the grill oh well...


This night pic kind of makes it all blend but I think it looks better than the regular silver mesh...

P.S.- You should probably click on the pic go to my web album and download the pic as with this pic you can't really tell that their is a mesh grill in there...

You go to my album?  I painted 04's chrome pieces...and than messed with his rims and front mesh grilles...grilles look funny because the pics are at night and I painted them with adobe...look better if it were a day time shot of the car...

Black looks like part of the car is missing.I think I will add the stainless upper (retaining bodycoloured surround) and lower mesh to my wish list.The more I see them the more I like them.
