I think I will add the stainless upper (retaining bodycoloured surround) and lower mesh to my wish list.

I'm with you on retaining the bodycoloured surround Buck!

Problems problems!!!
I soo wanna do it but, I'm picking my rims up tomorrow ( 500 miles round trip )and they need some attention, tyres off refurbed like new an tyres back on ( no garage to do the work as I converted my garage to another bedroom )
Leather dye arrived so interior needs attention too as well as caliper paint there ready to repaint calipers.....lol

Jim, a bedroom in the garage??....most of us have to use the upstairs bedrooms for a bit or if we cant wait the kitchen but a bedroom in the garage...that would be handy
I'll add that to my wish list as well but after my HIDs , heated seat kit and chrome mesh grilles....priorities you know

I always liked the stainless mesh look on jags. If you get the XJ superv8, with the body chrome panels blacked from the factory, the grille is STILL chrome with stainless mesh...just looks classier.

I think chrome on bigger car helps the look though...I feel like our cars don't look that great with chrome because it is too much in a small area...although the blacks look alright with chrome I tend to not like any other color with the chrome sport for me...

Hey jim do a faq section on the seat conditioning your doing...mine is starting to show some wear and if I plan on getting rid of her I'd like to not have anything else to draw the value down on this car!

Chrome looks brill on darker colors like black .Let's see you have a white car and chrome will not look as shiny as it looks on a black color .

See what I can do Aquill. My leather badly needs attention, especially the drivers bolster thats worn.......needs freshened up.
God knows when I'll get round to it now winters near enough on us and I have 2 sets of rims to do as well as paint the calipers and the leather too....lol
I'll do my best as and when I get round to it bro, I promise

Hey Jim, have you ever painted your leather seats?  I know I need to do so, since my leather has been worn from 104K miles of abuse, but I'm a skeptic of those painting products.

Biggie, painting the leather seats is like chasing ghost in dark . Eventually, after a certain amount of time ,the paint will go off

Hey Biggie.......I have just ordered / received some Black dye which is a perfect colour match for my interior.
I am going to try it soon. I'll start with the drivers bolster which is showing signs of wear and see how it goes from there.
I'll let you know mate

Well we'll see I guess.......I'll test a small area first where the wear is and see how we go from there
Hopefully it'll be good.

If you're unsure buddy a quick call with your VIN number will be all the info they'll need to tell you.

Hey Aquill..........I'm so sorry buddy I forgot to take pics
I tried it on the worst areas on the drivers bolster and WOW......works a treat, after one application the wear seems to disappear. I am going to give it a couple of applications and may do it all over, followed by leather conditioner.
Well pleased.
See the  link below.......he does all the Jag colours so I'm sure he'll have one that matches your interior

How does it work?  How does it help if there are crack looking things in your leather?
JimC64

If you imagine a scratch or worn area on your leather, it's usually through the leather and showing a lighter patch that stands out yeah.
Well, this basically fills that in and over a few coats blends it in quite nicely. I reckon that once I get some leather conditioner doing its work it'll make a big difference.
I dont know of anything that'll completely remove those patches other than refitting with new leather?
