Other than 2.5 vs 3.0...I really don''''t know what "options" there are to consider.
I know there''''s a "sport" model, but that doesn''''t interest me at all. Our biggest concern is getting a 3.0 and the right color combo. Other than colors and engine size...are there other "options" I don''''t know about or haven''''t noticed?
My Sport 2.5 always looks better than an SE model, no matter what the color

.
I''m very partial to the Sport model. I''m not a big fan of chrome trim.

rain sensing wipers... that''s the fashizzle straight up. Definately get the premium sound system too. HID and rear backup sensors are definately a must too. gotta get the Nav also.

I was wondering what ksims car he test drove and hated cost. Seems like a pretty good deal on that one you were looking at though andy. Seems like a deal to me! Although that tan interior probably hurts his asking price on that car.
I purchased a used 2003 X-Type with 33k miles for $14,500 two years ago. I drove it on the road for the entire time and never had a problem, then sold it to one of my reps, it has over 80k miles and still is going strong. I upgraded to a 2004 S-Type and got a similar deal. I think the mystic around the old Jag''s having so much trouble has followed them over the years. In my opinion the Jag X-Type is a fine automobile at a very reasonable price.
