FJT,

Nice catch!! Was that a DOA car sold/ traded in?

Indeed....blown motor. Major dents in body too. Inside was nice enough though. Replaced both heads, chains, guides and tensioners from a "cough" sourced motor. All cooling parts replaced also. All told with repairs and cost of car about $3500

Runs fabulously too. Put 2000 miles on her since rebuild and not even a stutter. Touch wood.

Great job, and you saved enough money to get that cough looked at~!

By the way, when the Mrs. drives her beautiful chariot, is there a rattle from the loose pin behind the kick panel?

I worked so hard on the rest of the car, I didnt notice the tail pipes....lol
I will do them next weekend.

Ohio, not sure what you mean? I will have to look at the kick panel tomorrow. But no...no rattle. Just picked up wife from airport and not a rattle in the car.
Wife happy as can be. Tint, dents pulled and satellite radio installed. I am done.

Wow, how nice to have a nice hook up at Jaguar eh?

Thanks all.

LOL....the hook up is myself. Hard work to get it right.
The original motor....for those that don't like to search....was driven for a long while with no coolant. Dropped seats from both heads.
