How about these fine Texas towns:
Dime Box
Cut and Shoot
Muleshoe
Needville
And a couple that have been in songs:
La Grange (from ZZ Top) I drove through there just this past Sunday.
Chine Grove (from the Doobie Bros.)

No that's exactly what it was, I had just watched the movie a night before.
He was like, san diego, discovered by the Germans in 1904 they named it San Diego after a whale's vagine.
Then the chick goes No I think it means Saint Diego
well nobody really knows where it comes from anymore.
she says: No, no that's what it means.
And he goes, Let's agree to disagree.
My favorite part of that movie is christina applegates a*s

San Diego - Saint Diego..........hmmmm.......sounds believable and more likely
- 1542 - Portuguese explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo sails his flagship, the San Salvador, from Navidad, Mexico, into San Diego Bay, under the flag of Spain. He names the area San Miguel and declares it a possession of Spain. An estimated 20,000 to 30,000 Kumeyaay live in the San Diego area at the time.
- 1602 - Spanish explorer Sebastian Vizcaino arrives with his flagship San Diego, and names the area for a Spanish Catholic saint, San Diego de Alcalá.
