What has everyone been paying?

Hi everyone,

First post.  I just test drove an XF for the first time today.  It was a premium luxury.  I absolutely fell in love with it.  I am seriously considering ordering a SC, vapor gray with the charcoal interior.  The salesman said there will be a $1,700 price increase next month.  Anyone else heard this?

Has everyone been paying full MSRP, or are there deals to be made?

i got my SC XF a few weeks ago (fully loaded).. i'm not the greatest wheeler/dealer but i got ~$2.5k off the sticker and a free Lojack ..

i can tell you that it was the only SC on the lot, while at the same time there were 16 non SC models on the lot.. i also know that since march the dealer has sold 44 non SC models yet has only had 6 SC's - every one of which was sold within a few days..  as of a week ago, the dealer still had not gotten any more SC models.. so, my point is i dont think you will be able to negotiate as good a deal with the SC model as you could with a non-SC model..

Thanks, Randy.  I guess I'll just hope for the best.  The dealership where I went had 3 or 4 non SC models, just as you have experienced.
