i have a 2001 XJR and i was under the impression it was an AJ26S engine (according to wikipedia). i just read a thread where someone mentions he has a 1999 with an AJ27 engine. does anyone know what model engine my 2001 XJR is?

1999 to 2003 is AJ27. AJ26 is '97-'98 only.
