What mods should I do to my car?

How would it look on a british racing green color?
I was looking to put in teh chrome mesh grill but it says plastic bars need to be cut, what is that?
I saw factory chrome mirror caps for almost $200 what do you think?
I am also doing 6000k HID Kit

 
 
Hi Jason................do the mesh grille conversions upper n lower.......They look so much better, especially if yours is the sports version. Check out the FAQ section on how to!
Factory mirroe caps is a no no...............well, at least as far as I'm concerned. But, if you're a chrome lover......go for it.
Hid kit?..............A must for these cars as the std lighting is terrible.

It says I have to cut out the plastic bars. What is that, did someone put them on for you, how much was it?

i got the chrome mirror covers for about 50 on ebay, the seller is jagsjagsjags. ill post some pics of them mounted on my car tomorrow

Well me personally, I don't like chrome so I can't say anything about the pieces you speak of if you want positive comments....as Jim said though I do the front mesh grills!  Hid kit is in order....clear side repeaters are nice...some different rims that show off your rotors....perhaps different sound...to me with all of that chrome the car kind of looks funny if it doesn't have some chrome rims as well...here's a link to why I hate chrome! What a lovely car aquill's posted !  It's even got chrome rocker molding trims  .It would be perfect if it were a black / dark blue color

Better get some chrome rims too if your going to go out all chrome...

digging this thread out from the grave cuz its been raining and only got to take the pic yesterday. came out to about 60 plus shipping. here they are on my black x. If the pic doesnt work, maybe onea the amazing mods can help me out a little : )

I actually really like those mirror covers looks sweet!  And I mean that for real!  I'd love to see some all chrome wheels on there too!

I can honestly say thats the only jag I've actually liked with chrome on it!  Man I hate chrome but man does that look good!  Black can pull that off though...brg probably could too!

Wow, I agree with Quil, that looks really good.  I think the chrome I dispise is the Chrome A-Pillars.

Oh yeah...a company would never put those on stock...jag put the chrome mirror covers on newers x's i think...

yea the VDP x-type and some s-types have the chrome mirrors. im not a chrome nut like some people, i dont liek the head/tail light trims but the mirrors are pretty tastefull. thats the only chrome i added to the car

Oh yeah for sure those headlight/taillight are absolute trash but those mirror covers are pure AWESOME!  I love those!  Now you need some all chrome 18's!  One more time I LOVE THOSE MIRRORS!  Almost makes me wish I had some chrome on my car!
