You are looking at a beautifully weathered example of a 1961 Jaguar E-type, Series 1. This particular E-type has been in regular use and is assured to be in perfect working order. Featuring a mild restoration and refresh of the exterior and mechanicals, this road registered ’61 is ready to be driven off the auction block.

Featuring the 265 horsepower 3.8L overhead cam straight-6 engine and a 4-speed manual transmission, this black-over-black “flat floor” E-type is considered to be one of the purest examples of the breed. With the classic car bubble at it’s peak, this E-type is expected to draw between 170,000-200,000€, or about $250,000 USD.

This beauty goes up on the block this weekend, and you can check it out right here.
