Default Jaguar E-Type Film Noir Police Pursuit

Check out this 1960s police car chase clip, which features an original Series 1 Jaguar E-Type Roadster running from the bobbies.

A bit lame really. The Wolseley Police car (not known for their brilliant performance) seemed not to have too much trouble keeping up.

The "C" suffix on the plate indicates a car first registered during calendar year 1965. And the "DU" indicates a Coventry registry. So probably an early S1 4.2 model. Agreed - the "chase" versus the slug-slow copper car is a bit lame. The "EH" on the Wolseley is a Reading registry. Also spotted "OW" (Southampton) and "BH" (Luton) on some of the background cars. Any guesses on the location? The street chase scenes did look like 1960's Reading, but the dockside? so close to town scenes? Maybe creative editing...
