I'm rebuilding my e-type and am working on the motor. I had the motor professionally blueprinted. However, the oil filter housing ad an issue that was flagged by the builder. There is a spring loaded relief valve in the housing that has come loose, and I don't know which direction to seat it in before putting it back in its place and securing with some well placed taps with a hammer and a drift.


The picture above shows the relief valve and the port in which I believe it should be installed. But, what's the orientation? As shown in the pic, or 180 degrees rotated?
