Default Towing a Series 2 on to a low loader

Hi,
My 1970 Series 2 Convertible is going to a local garage for the last few stages of a nut and bolt restoration. Hopefully back on the road in a few weeks. Engine currently not running.

Can anyone recommend safest points to attach ropes for pulling it onto the vehicle (front or back)?

The transporter is just like a breakdown truck with flat bed.

Many thanks for any advice.

All we did was use heavy straps around the front suspension, and winched it on...You're not lifting the car, your just pulling it up a grade...We tied it down using front and rear suspension.....It didn't seem like a problem, it's not a very heavy car, afterall.

Thanks for your advice Edwrd. I'll see how we get on.
I was concerned about towing at the front and the rope catching on the bodywork.
