Car & Driver: F-Pace vs Macan
There's a pretty good comparison of the F-Pace FE vs the Macan GTS in the November issue of Car & Driver. Overall, they liked both cars, but scored the Macan slightly ahead (215 vs 214 on their point scale).

Some written comments by the reviewer:
On Jaguar F-Pace: On the plus side: "Achingly beautiful profile and rear views, the steering that Porsche wishes it had." On the negative side: "Busy body motions, less-polished interior." On the neutral side: "No matter how deep the field, it would finish near the top."
On Porsche Macan GTS: On the plus side: "Defiant exhaust note, obsessively detailed, stupefying stability." On the negative side: "Snug back seat, tamer handling." On the neutral side: "All-around excellence ekes one out."

"As the owner of a 911 and F-Type, I was very interested in your head-to-head review of the Macan vs the F-Pace. This year was time to replace the wife’s RX-350 marshmallow, and we wanted something with more panache than the current Lexus that looks like a goldfish with a strap-on.
Clearly, both the Porsche and Jag are worthy contenders - each with its pluses and minuses. I was a bit surprised, though, that you used the First Edition version of the F-Pace, since it’s no longer available. For my own comparison, I used the “S” trim that has the same engine & drive train, but drops the weight and improves the 0-60 by .3 seconds. Also, the ride improves with the S’s 20” wheels (to match the Macan). To top it off, it also drops the price by $6k, making the price delta a full $12k. I think it's safe to say the sum of all those is worth 3-5 points on your scale - making the P-Face a clear winner.
BTW, I noticed that the photo layout shows the F-Pace much more prominently on the cover and main shots. It makes me think someone in the editing room also had a different winner at heart."

- The GTS is quicker to 60 from a standing start by almost a full second, 4.4 vs. 5.3; however, in a rolling start, the difference shrinks to 5.4 vs. 5.7
- Top speed, however, is closer, 155 mph to 159
- The GTS has a much bigger gas tank: 19.8 gallons vs. 16.6 in the F-Pace
- Gas mileage is better in the F-Pace, 20/18/23 vs 19/17/23
- Difference in length is less than two inches! 186.3 vs. 184.7, which makes the F-Pace much closer in size to the Macan than the Cayenne
- The two vehicles are almost identical in width: 76.2 for the F-Pace vs. 76.1 for Macan GTS
- F-Pace has a longer wheel base for larger interior space: 113.1inches vs. 110.5inches
- F-Pace has significantly more cargo space than the Macan: 64 cu ft vs 52 cu ft in front; 34 cu ft vs 18 cu ft in rear.
- F-Pace can tow 881 more pounds than the Macan GTS
- F-Pace First Edition is only 9 pounds heavier than the GTS (which means the less feature laden F-Paces are lighter than the GTS by a lot)
