Default JLR Moved My ETA - Further Out 😤

Got an email from the GM today. My ETA was 10-31. Now it is 11-7.
Lots of guys here are getting their's early and mine is pushed back.
Do you think JLR knows I'm a girl?? LOL LOL

Anyone else had their ETA pushed back?

Sorry to bear bad news .. nope. Mine just went from 30th Sept to 18th.

Mind you, the dealer is only 18 miles or so from the factory ... and I still get a delivery charge of £400 or so! Could have picked it up myself if only they had that option.

Now yours is the same as mine...11/7...I wonder if they'll be built side-by-side that same week?

Now it'll be real interesting to see who takes delivery first,lol...!

Well at least with some delivery dates moving forward maybe mine won't move backwards again.

Sorry to hear that Timbo.
Hope the F-Type made up for it when it finally arrived.

Sorry to hear this, you are no doubt chomping at the bit.. at least its only about 7 days. It might be due to shipping as they come over on a ship that might only dock in N.A. every couple of weeks.

Hmm... So they didn't mention a Build Date? Have they sold you an allocation they don't actually have?

My delivery date is 11/7 too, so that makes three of us. How about the first two of us buy the loser a bottle of whiskey? You guys (guy+gal) in?

Well .. dealer called today, the car has actually been delivered ... so, scheduled for 30th Sept, then for 18th Sept and arrived on 11th. Will not be available until next Wednesday but truly excited - not looked forward to a car this much for many, many years.

Sorry to hear others are having it pushed back - would be gutted.

That will probably be me LOL. As I told Buick before I'm not an alcohol person, don't like the taste. Make mine Pepsi.

Interesting... My Vista print out only indicates a Planned Build Date of 09/2014, and a Planned Delivery Date of 11/2014, yet I know we shared the same cut-off date for changes of 08/26/14.

Wonder why my print out limits the delivery date to Month and Year only?

.

Mine is showing a last change date of 8/22/14, a current planned build date of the week ending 9/12/14, and a current planned delivery date of 10/31/14. It says it is currently being trimmed out.

Will be curious to see when it arrives compared to everyone else!

Have you had your contact at the dealership check your ETA recently?
