Default Cleaning exhaust

I've noticed that my exhausts are turning slightly brown on the outside, I guess due to heat. Is that just part of the deal, or is there a way to remove all that to bring back the stainless glory?

Sonax Wheel Cleaner Full Effect. My vote for best brake dust cleaner and does a great job on exhaust tips...but this is mainly on the inside where the deposits accumulate. Spray on dry, wait 5 minutes for the liquid to turn red and hose off.

Use this about once or twice per year and just wash with soap and water between times.

Welp, I got some Sonax and some Borla, and will also try the Barkeepers Friend to see how they all 3 perform in a taste test. Thanks for the suggestions folks!
