Great venue ... AMV8 was a possibility but the F-type won for many reasons ...

Both awesome and supersmart pairing this stunning car with the most perfect airplane ever (or perhaps I should say aeroplane).

I suppose the logical plane for a jag would be the hellcat, If only it looked sleek too

My good lady and I spent last weekend in the company of Captian Mike Bannister .... he was the cheif pilot for Concorde. He is now Vice Chariman of the Brooklands Museum (Surrey UK). As well a many historic cars, they have most of the planes ever built at Brooklands, plus their collection is home to UK Concorde #3. Fully restored and modified they offer a flight simulation, champagne reception and a meal that would have been served onboard.

If youre in the UK, or planning a visit here, its worth a visit. And for all the petrolheads here, its right next door to the Mercedes museum, showroom and test track where you can sample an AMG in anger.

Jaguar Concorde edition ... would have to be white, with red/blue detailing, maybe matching the leather to the deep blue of the final versions ...

Before I moved out to the US, I lived in Cambridge and was a frequent visitor to Duxford Imperial War Museum where they have one of the original test equipment rigged Concorde on display. The escape hatch in the floor was an eye opener ;-)

But yes, considering Jaguar builds their cars in Castle Bromwich in the former Spitfire factory site, as AM beat them to the punch on that one, I can totally picture a similar eight car run in those colours. Maybe someone at SVO would pick it up. I couldn't afford one but it would be nice....
