If you look even more closely, there are R badges all over the car inside and out, the vehicle has 4 exhaust tips and the steering wheel has paddle shifters. Oh also via hood vent location its clearly AWD. They show shots of her using the mono-stable automatic gearshift function, not shifting a stick.
The vehicle in the movie is an R, so i'm sure that's why they went with the R here.

I had a friend take me to F&F 7 and it was the dumbest cartoonish nonsense you could imagine. Which would be fine is it was portrayed as a comedy or parody, but it is not.
I LOVE stupid movies, just not ones that pretend to be serious on any level. It would be better to have then just focus on the Dodge Demon and keep the F-Type out of the promotion or some fart can.
