Default Orange County / LA area F Type Meet

Fellow local F'ers

It would be awesome for everyone to gather up for a meet up with all of our F Types!

I'll be more than happy to set up a meet and greet if you all are interested!

Why not open it up to other Jaguar models? Previous attempts at SoCal meetings have not been very fruitful, but there are a number of us that meet up on a semi-regular basis that would join in.

I'll extend it to all Jags sorry for the delay in posts, I started moving to the new place today! No longer in irvine but now in mission viejo! I'm going to plan a big meet at one of the shops I partner with in mission viejo off the 5fwy and Alicia Pkway. Big shop big parking lot!

I would guess this would be the best Jag Forum to post on: US Western - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

This might be a good place to meet? It's located down Laguna Canyon right next door to the Sawdust Festival.

Best if we wait till spring when the weather is a tad warmer and nicer...

Besides, I might have my car back by then. 4 freakin months for a nudge of a fender bender from the rear. Been fighting with insurance company since day one. They have no clue how to estimate these aluminum body cars.

The sole Jaguar factory authorized repair facility in Orange County, with a stellar reputation for Jaguar restoration going back 40 years, had a 19K estimate prepared in 5 days. Insurance started at 4K, even with repair shops estimate in hand. NUTS!!!

Moral: Guard your aluminum body panels with your life. Your insurance carrier does not care how much you paid, or how highly specialized the engineering of the F-Type truly is. They will use prevailing market labor rates for a sheet metal camry or accord to quote your car, and refuse to acknowledge that aluminum is any different.

I can't see the poster very well, but doesn't it say February 12? Or is it every Sunday at the same time and place?

I'm not sure I follow why won't insurance pay out for the work required?
