Default Is Orange Really the New Black?

Prototyping some orange accents...will let it sit for a few days to see if I like it enough to get professionally done (quality is amateur right now, since, well, I'm an amateur). debating if orange hood vents would be too much...

Will you please stop this madness with the bloody fuel filler cap.

Orange polka dots all over the car could work. It would be a challenge figuring out which one to pry open at refueling.

Gotta say orange is my favorite color. That being said....sorry but the orange accents just aren't working for me.

Please don't do that to your car.

Shift - time to invest in a 2nd Jag. I'm thinking Firesand.

The bottom trim is interesting, but I'd leave the door handles and fuel filler alone.

Default Orange accents

Shift,

I like the orange trim on the skirts and the side mirror markers but the gas cap and the door handles not so much. A bright color such as orange I believe works well with darker colors but with a another bright color such as white, it seems to clash.

LOL, if I had a Firesand I'd probably let it alone. But I keep running into these other white coupes in the area, so need to do something to distinguish my car

The way I see it, the [your] most distinguishing characteristic can be summed in one word: PUPPY.

no doubt about it...Cassie gets more love from random strangers than the Cat for sure. It really is true, if you want to get female attention, don't buy a fancy sports car, or fancy watch, or designer clothes...just get a puppy!

incidentally, for the curious, I got the idea for the mirror after seeing a 918 Spyder Edition Turbo S the other day. Because if you buy a $900K 918, you get the exclusive rights to buy a $180K Turbo S with green acid accents :-)

This is my thought. I think the orange works on the ground effects.

Delete the door handles and try some lipstick. Like that color of orange, but glad it's your car and not mine!

interestingly enough, I don't like lipstick ala Aston Martin. I like the contrasting mirror covers and the side strip, but the roof edge and lipstick don't do it for me.

Scarlett, Cassie. Cassie, Scarlett. All the adornment (or, to use your word, accent, if you prefer) I need in my Jag....(other than my lovely wife, on whose lap Scarlett usually sits...although Scarlett was my sole co-pilot on this trip).

As other's have said, I don't like the door handles or gas filler door.

However, the accents on the ground effects and mirror don't look bad, IMHO.

I think the issue is that the F-Type is such a classy design that these "shouty" flourishes that work on lesser designs are not necessary and don't really flow well with the F-Type.

That said, you do whatever you like, and if nothing else it will provide some fodder for the forums other than stereo issues.

i like it with just the trim along the front/sides.

not feeling it on the mirrors/door handles or fuel filler door
