Is that source still shipping without suspicion?

We'll have to go into hiatus on ordering the P7 grille and surround for a while. Those parts are backlogged (and the primary vendor appears to be getting a bit suspicious about all these orders coming through.) Check back with me in 6-8 weeks and we'll see if the pipeline is still available.

It's not that easy, the whole front end needs to come off. 4 hours labor plus sensors.

It's almost easier just buying my car!

This looks awesome, I just might have to consider this. The front end looks so much cleaner.

It looks fabulous! I can hardly wait to get mine installed. .....but now I'm second guessing my surround color....it's all your fault, Polaris!

We had a poll earlier and a zillion people voted that they didn't like the surround to be coded to the paint. For me its a no brainer but its up to you to decide. You've got these hi res pics to use as your guide.

Like my vents (coded), I think the cars body lines are accentuated far better when you don't have eye distractions like added colors and textures. Further, if the car was black, there would be no argument that the surround should be black so this is the very same logic to code it unless of course you had chrome vents and tail pipes, which in that case chrome may have been an option.

Im pretty sure Ferrari would have done it the same way.

Less is more. Let the lines speak for themselves!

Nice pics - is that an iPhone 7 Plus Portrait Mode?
Also, where about in the Bay Area are you? Would be great to meet up.

@ Polaris
Can you tell me the distance from the under edge of the Jaguar badge to the surround beginning?

Yeah, I remember the poll......at least it wasn't quite as one sided as the poll about who likes/dislikes the grill bar! ;-)

Your pics are perfect as my car is the same color, etc. ....hmmmm

Cheers,
Dave

When I do the P7 conversion, I will go with chrome (like OEM) wrap on the surround. The only thing I am shooting for is removing the bumper bar.

I'm in E'Ville. I am selling her shortly because I need more room so I won't have her for long.

I'm opting for a used RRsc (same engine as my F) 13 or 14 or a new Lexus RX450h F-Sport.

5.25" from the top edge of the bottom part of the surround to the bottom of the emblem.

A base for the emblem is molded into the grill (both P7 and oem) so theres no placement guesswork unless you're fabricating a custom mesh one like a few others have done.
