This just popped up on the Alcon Brakes facebook page.

Looks pretty hardcore!

The red trim ring just makes it look like a Guppy wearing lip stick with it's mouth open... Seriously, cover up everything from the front tires back, and tell me the front end from the side doesn't look like a fish with gills, with a wide open mouth, gasping for air....

No front grille either. Now, there's a thought. Just take a hammer to the bar and grille and go without. Front sensors could simply be mounted with brackets.

The haunches of a cat and head of a mako shark.

Ron Law Racing spent some money on this run. Check out the $15,000 Carbon Revolution wheels, the Alcon Brake Package plus all the body mods. And then shipping it all (note right hand steering) from the UK. Probably at least 300k for a 10 minute ride up the hill. It looks like an AWD by the bulge and vents on the hood. Hopefully they do well.

6th place on runs 1 & 2 today and 5th on run 3 (qualifying) so not too shabby.

I think when your core business and company history is founded on the success of your motorsport endeavours (in house and customer provided), you engage with your business partners and go and knock it out of the park.

Sadly no AWD on the car. Just a very intelligently built product and a boss behind the wheel.

As you say. Fingers crossed for them.
