Default What watch goes with the F-Type?

Of course the Bremont if you have the E-Type Lightweight, but what about an F-Type?

Expert car and watch pairings for the tastefully fast

I spent all my money on my F-Type, so my Jaguar watch will have to be a Timex.

Well, not particularly Jaguar or car related (and its German!), however this one is high tech, good looking to my eye.

Sinn UX

Made from the same hardened steel used to make U Boats, waterproof to about 15,000 feet, high frequency (ie accurate) quartz movement. Battery lasts 7 years. Downside is it has to go to Germany to change the battery, as the case is filled with oil, which gives it the high waterproof rating (uncrushable!). The face/hands look cool in person - due to the oil filled case it looks flat like a photo and can be read from any angle.

Mine needs a new battery...Germany here it comes.

I have an a Omega seamaster and have been eying this new speedmaster black edition to match my black cat. The Jaguar Bremont isn't great to my eyes. Sorry T!:

Toss up between that or this Rolex Daytona black:

Ah, a watch thread! Nice. For me, I've been wearing my Panerai with the F-Type.

Alexg-- both the Speedmaster and the Daytona are really nice. Hard to choose between the two, though maybe I'd lean towards the Speedy since the red / pink is a little harder to wear.

I've got red stitching in the cabin though! Some of the Rolex's are a bit loud but this one is nice. I'm currently rocking my Prince Cellini today but I usually wear this one at night. Night driving is the best. Guess I just like black watches ....and black cars! Your Panerai is stunning. Minimal, understated elegance. --starts looking at Panerai website ---

Thanks!

Red stitching? That maybe changes my mind then! Yes, the Daytona would be a perfect match, then. Either way, you couldn't go wrong. Speedmaster and Daytona have always been a car match made in heaven.

The Cellini is amazing. It's very tasteful and exudes class. The Daytona would be a nice addition to the family!

On a side note, if you're considering a Speedmaster, have you thought about the Seamaster Planet Ocean? It wears a bit larger being a dive watch, but I've always been partial to it. Now that I think about it, you could get both the Speedy and a Planet Ocean for the price of the Daytona, no?

Watch ****!

I've never owned a "nice" watch, but someday I'm going to reward myself with an IWC Portuguese, which I think is one of the classiest watches ever made.

I also like watches from Vacheron Constantin and some from Chronoswiss, but the IWC Portuguese is still tops on my list. One day, I WILL have one.

if you are going to do a thread like this, you have to post the picture of the watch in the car.

Like in this thread.
What watch you wear driving your beast M3/M4/M5/M6 - ?

This. Classy like the car.

Apologies for not showing it in the car, but's raining cats 'n' dogs out.

Yes, I love the Cellini. Just that the white gold is very soft and so can scratch easily. Its been back to Rolex a couple of times now in the past decade I've owned it. Regarding Seamster I've got one of these, love it, wear it daily. Its really a very durable watch. Have been in the ocean with it numerous times and it works perfectly now after 5years. Only now is the rubberized/leather strap looking a little worn but not much. Have been very impressed with the Omega quality and yes they are cheaper than Rolex but Rolex are like Ferrari, the ultimate brand and you pay for that:

Hence why I'm keen on a speedmaster. Maybe my christmas present to myself.
