I want to install some after market seat heaters in my new F-150. I wish I had ordered them with the truck but didn't think I would need them here in Florida.

It was 29 degrees here this morning and I want them now.

The ones in my Wife's new Ford Escape are great! They are rheostat adjustable and get so warm you can cook dinner on them if you want, lol!

The factory units in my XJR barely get warm, but they are nice to have.

Who has experience with these kits and who has the best sets?

They are on Ebay for $80 or so and the install looks pretty simple.

Trim to fit "Carbon fiber" sets seem to be the norm? Any info on these?

I don't know which are 'best' but I bought Ebay seat heater kits. I can't remember the seller but the packaging said "Champion Seat Systems".

They work fine in my XJR (at a mere fraction of the price of OEM replacements, I might add).

I can't specifically recommend you any brand but my experience with aftermarket heaters are positive . I had my dad's Fleetwood rear seats installed many years ago and these aftermarket stuff has proven better running OEM front seat heaters .
