Default Maxjax Compact Two Post Lift Group Buy

After doing a lot of research on lifts for my home garage, I decided I wanted to buy a Maxjax two post lift. It is highly rated and best of all, you can move it out of the way when not in use.

When I called to order I decided to ask if they would offer any discount to Jaguarforums members.

They came back with a pretty good offer, I think:

"We will offer a special "group buy" offer on the patented portable Dannmar Maxjax™ automotive lift with a 6000lb. capacity for the members of Jaguarfourms. For the month of May 2016, any MaxJax™ ordered by a Jaguarforums member using promo: Vector1, will receive the Maxjax™ automotive lift ($2050 value) + 2-year extended warranty (includes parts & labor), ($199 value) + free shipping* for only $1950! That is a $299 savings off of current May promo pricing! For more information and video on the Maxjax™ automotive lift, go to MaxJax Portable Car Lift - Home Garage Lift - Dannmar - MaxJax USA for details and call 844-629-5291 and speak with a Maxjax™ representative to place order. You must mention promo: Vector1 for full offer."

"*48 contiguous states
**Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico extra
Note: lift gate & residential address delivery extra"

I thought this would be a great way for us to get a good buy and extended warranty on a very nice compact, portable lift.

I also got the same deal for my friends on my Ferrari forum, here is a thread that from there that shows installation and how the unit works:

Max Jax install - FerrariChat.com

I have no affiliation with Maxjax, BTW.

Thumbs up

As noted above, that is a pretty nice "bit of kit for the money"

.... unfortunately I don't have the disposable $2k right now, and I've got severely challenged ceiling height in my 1920s carriage house that is used for my garage.

But OTOH, there's no reason why it has to be used INSIDE a garage though since it can be disassembled and stored when not in use. One could simply install the mounting sleeves in a concrete drive/pad outdoors and then the height limitations would be a non-issue.

Definitely have to keep something like this in mind.

Too bad can't take advantage of the group buy now though.

Good luck! Folks who can get them will be very lucky.

One reason I bought the MaxJax is that it is designed for standard ceiling heights, I only have 8.5' in my garage.

It only goes up about 44" or so, enough to get underneath on a wheeled shop chair, or lift it to R&R wheels, but not so high that you need 10' ceilings to install it.

I don't care about standing under my car to work on it and it doesn't need to go up to full height anyway for working on wheels, brakes, suspension and such.

I have had one for over 5 years now and LOVE it! I mounted it and never remove it though. Works great, as I have only about 7.5 ft ceiling clearance. The group buy price iis very good...that is about what I pad several years ago.

I used the MaxJax for the first time a couple of weeks ago.

Put the Jag up in the air to reinstall my electric exhaust cut outs I had serviced under warranty.

This is the best item I have ever added to my garage tool array!

Easy to get at everything under the car, could take my time and do a good job, all without crawling around on the concrete!
