Using WDS to determine CM Part Number Suffix
When using the JEPC for Control Module part numbers you will see...
USE THE PORTABLE DIAGNOSTIC UNIT TO DETERMINE PART NUMBER SUFFIX
I know I have done this years ago with PDU but I can't remember if I have done this with WDS. If it was a feature of WDS, was it deleted as some other applications were??????
Sometimes the VCATS label is missing or damaged and the part number suffix is required to get the correct part.
I had WDS 'hooked-up' to a 2002 XJR today and thought I would see if I could find the APP for CM P/N suffix. I could not find it in any tabs.
Any one remember where to look or if it was deleted from the software????
I know things like 'NETWORK INTEGRITY TEST' seemed to disappear back in the early 2000s, but I would like to have this feature if it still exists.
