Screenshots from Begin Again, a movie I saw last evening. Besides the main actors it highlights this beautiful gorgeous black jag. Can you recognize
the model and year? It looks like a Mark X to me.

A lot of this movie was filmed in Downtown Toronto aka New York City - so I know this car was in our midst at some point!

 

Yes definitely a mark 10. Looks to be a satin black finish. Very sleek looking with narrow whitewalls. Nice!

 

That was my car. I leased to the production company, but since it played a more prominent role than first expected, they bought it from near the end of filming. It is 1964 with a 3.8.

BTW, I have a garage full of Mark X/420G parts if anyone is needing some.

Sweet looking car. Is that a satin finish on the paint or is that a movie special effect? Looks fab.

 

It was repainted about 15 yrs ago with a black enamel paint. It is just a bit faded!

 

Looks like it made the movie poster too.

 

This was my Dad's car - pretty sure it is the same one based on how the air-conditioner looks. It was originally dark blue with red leather...

 

My Dad bought this car new (or one just like it) - brought it back to VA from a European vacation during his mid-life crisis. He sold it in NM in the seventies. It was the car I first learned how to drive.
