Default Newbie inane question

Hi all yall Mark V - X 420G guys and gals.

Sorry for such a pathetic 1st question but I am going to collect my, new to me, 1967 420G on Sunday. It is being delivered on a trailer to the ferry port where I will go and collect it and drive it home some 80kms. It will be dusk or even dark and I know that the rear turn signal (indicator) is not working. I will have 2 hours on the ferry to sort it out, hopefully just the lamp itself so I can buy one at an auto store. Can any one tell me what type of lamp I should buy?

I promise to have better questions and input in the future!

1967 420 G the fun will start soon!

Sorry I missed this in my post. From the service manual it's a Lucas number 382 12v 21 Watt what is a modern day equivalent?

Good luck, hope it's just the bulb, let us know how it goes!

More than likely it will be the bulb, and these are a very easy swap-out, as the outer lens is held on with a couple of cross head screws.

The car looks a beaut, BTW. Today I was in my local indie in England, and they had the Mark 10 owned by Sir William Lyons in the workshop. A lot of money had been spend by the current collector owner and it looked almost brand-new !
