Default Paint code / identity

I hope no-one has asked about this before, I did try to search for the answer but there are so many ways to search for this particular question. What is the paint code or name for the "red" used in the early Jaguar logo (elongated diamond shape around the letters J A G U A R)? My son is keen to use the correct colour for a particular odd project he has on the boil. Any information would be much appreciated.

The central section appears on the block of the 4.2L 6 cylinder engine, probably on many others also but I have seen it on the 4.2L.

I wouldn't imagine a specific colour code for it exists. It would be just a generic red, nothing too specific. For my grille badge i used ford sunset red (a 70s ford colour) because its what i had available.

Default Sunset red

Thanks jjd, thanks for your reply. I'm sure the factory would have known which red to use but it makes sense that there wouldn't be a designated code for the badge colour. I've previously encountered a similar question for the painted detail on a grill (non Jaguar), there is a red line around one groove and while all I spoke to agreed the colour was the same on each car that left the factory no-one had a definitive answer as to which red it was. This time around I was hoping that the answer would be as simple as the red used on the rest of the body if a red car was ordered. I like the look of 1968 Jaguar "Signal Red".
