My66 s-type is P1B77903bw. BW stands for Borg Warner auto trans. There is an online decoder that you can search which will tell you. Its at fairislepress.com. I found it under the "your S-type" section in the forums area of Jagstyperegister.com. Give it a try and let us know.

The P denotes power steering. The BW denotes Borg Warner automatic transmission. The 22 indicates it was a 3.8 engine installed in LHD MK2.
22 was used from 1963 to 1967, the remaineder of the numbers will help you identify the month and year manufacture. Visit SALOON Data - Keeping track of every Jaguar Saloon - Jaguar, Daimler classic saloon (sedan) information, articles, photos and register and enter the complete VIN in the search block. Even if this MK2 is not in the data base you can search plus or minus from your number and see about when it was built.
