Jaguar MK2 Servo

Jaguar MK2 Servo
Hi,
I'm currently rebuilding the servo on my car, does any one know what the model number for unit is or where I can find it? I believe the unit is 6 7/8".
Does anyone know where I can get a full seals kit for the unit including the servo air cylinder, preferably in the UK? The unit has a seal in the servo air cylinder which appears to be a piece of rope (possibly asbestos).
The bore on my unit looks really good but has one tiny mark in it, i'm debating whether to have it relined or whether to try it and see how it goes.
On the basis that the seals in the bore won't allow fluid to escape to open area even if they leak a little fluid what effect would this have on the servos operation?
Thanks for any help you can give.

See this thread, you can also source the bits that wear out through eBay, but it's still a pain to find them.

I rebuilt one when I was restoring a Mark 2, but it was a long time ago, like mid-80s. I got all the seals and so on, but I do specially remember that a depth gauge is needed to set the pushrod that pushes the slave cylinder.
Here's the thing you need, the depth gauge part is that little rod sticking out the right hand end. Make sure you get one that is long enough.
Vernier Caliper - Mitutoyo (530 Series)
SNG Barratt have a nice parts diagram and will sell you most of the parts you need, but I see that there is no longer a repair kit for the air valve.

Have a look at this, I am sure I have seen some details about someone doing this and detailed info on the setup, I will dig and see if I can find it.

If there are any discrepancies in the bore that would cause any internal leakage, then those need to be addressed.
Sleeving the bore is the answer or a new unit.
Any internal leaks can cause pressure loss and fluid flow to the calipers and you don't want that.
It's a safety issue, and the bore needs to be perfect.
