Needless to say, you may have to install the anchorage points as a 1955 car is unlikely to have them. This will involve some drilling and welding. My Mark 2 of 1967 already had the anchorages installed. The genuine belts in my car had lovely miniature "leapers" on the clasps
My '65 S type came with BMC clasps. ( British Motors Corporation? ).
