Greetings
I am the new owner of an old XK8 with 68000 miles on the clock. The body is beautiful, the engine looks and sounds great (although I have already put aside the funds and plan on having the timing chain brought up to generation III) and the interior is going to need a major detailing and then some. The top goes up and down but very slowly so I also plan on having the hydraulics flushed and replaced. It also probably needs to have the wheels balanced and a 4-wheel alignment as there is more shimmy than I believe should be happening.
I have wanted to own a Jag ever since I saw my first E-type at 8 years of age. While this is no E-type, I am hoping to end up loving the critter.
