Thumbs up Hello from San Diego

Just purchased a 2001 Jaguar XJ8 VDP, 67k miles one owner as a ride home from car auction ( wholesale car dealer for 36 years) and fell in love with it. Have sold mostly trucks and suvs in my career, but needed a ride home and was so impressed with the smoothness of this car, I had to keep it. I have collected and sold mostly old Cadillacs as my lifetime affair with the automobile, but Jaguars have always touched me as some of the most beautiful cars ever. I belong to a couple of other car forums ( duramax diesel for my 2009 Chevy HD3500 4x4) and a Cadillac forum ( for my 50k 1968 Cadillac Eldorado) and have found them to be incredibly helpful. I have learned more about these automobiles from sites like this than you can ever believe. Thanks ahead of time to all the moderators, technical members, and others for your time you have devoted to this site.
