Smile New Member- Jaguar XK 4.2 convertible 2007

Hi All
I have just taken the plunge on my 3rd Jag (first X Type 2.2D= great car, second 2012 Jag XF 2.2= depreciated badly but good car) with my 3rd being a 2007 Jaguar XK 4.2!
I havent picked it up yet because I'm having a few things done to it and sometimes wonder whether I've made a good decision!
I love the styling but worried about maintenance (its only got 49,000kms on) which is why I went XK not XKR as I thought less to go wrong!?

Are there any things I should look out for on this model? I've just learnt that rubber boots over all the bushes have gone and the dealer is trying to sting me with some heavy replacement costs of entire arm even though bushes aren't worn.

I'm based in South Africa and I'd like to hear from fellow XK/XKR owners all over the world about general running of these good looking vehicles.

Kind regards Phillip
