Default Old Jaguar but New to Me

Hi Jaguar Fans,

I purchased a 1988 Jaguar XJS with the V12 engine. I read a lot of good and bad about the car but after I sat in it and went for the test drive I was hooked. I hope I will get lots of good advice and help here. The car is in nice shape and the shop that cared for it says it was well maintained listing a variety of things done to it. I hope to enjoy this car for many years to come. I have included some pictures.

I did read a lot about overheating issues which now has me thinking about that issue. I will be doing a lot of reading here to learn more. Although the temperature reads normal now.

Well, anyway. Thanks for having me here in your membership.

Welcome.

NICE looking XJ-S.

You will need to read carefully about the XJ-S SMILE, that is mandatory prior to starting the engine. Get it wrong, and you will PAY, HAHA.
