Hello folks.
I have been leaning how to fix and great advice on this site for some time now.
Just got around to posting a picture of my 2006 XKR Victory edition on the wow us with your Jag 100.
This weekend I installed new OEM marks on the rear, currently trying to fix my cup holder. I fixed my jammed CD player and if time permits ( my wife permits) I will remove one of my seats and tackle the head rest repair.
Really, I would not have attempted any of these fiddly repairs without the knowledge I have gleaned ( is that a word, I think so) from this forum.
I live in a small village in northern Ontario. When I got my car I thought, This will be unique for the area. Wrong. There are 3 other XKR 100,s up here. lol.
Anyway, thanks to all the posters.

Welcome to the forum haliopt,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

As you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Canada Region forum by following this link Canada - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Really lovely XKR. Amazing that you found that there are others near you as these cats are pretty rare all over. There are very few Jaguars of any sort where I live, outside of the small county seat town of Ukiah, California, let alone XK8 coupés. We live well outside of town but have an office building (renovated Victoian house) in downtown Ukiah. I was there, doing yard work, a month or so ago. Some function was going on at the church next door and one of the arrivals for that function pulled up in front of my house in a black XK8 coupé. I can tell you that I did a double take! I thought someone must have taken mine, my son perhaps (I was there in another car). No, it was a woman from Lake County (next county east), a place even less likely to have XK8s running around. Turned out to be much older than mine but of course they all look much alike.
