That's a cool offer - wish I was up there, I'd take you up on the reflash of my TCM on the 03 S-Type. You're a generous man!

My WDS just arrived from CA (in one piece) on Saturday and took her out for a test drive (OBD2 cord was placed out the window to my car...lol). Cleared my dreaded CATS codes (from heavy snow from last storm and polar vortex) from the ADCM that was in my car - and hooked up my old ADCM that had 2 codes (when I started up the car w/ struts disconnected as I was about to change them out) and cleared them out as well with ease among other deep codes that my Matco Determinator scanner was not picking up in other sub systems.

Just glad to have the CATS system up and running. The locked struts reminded me of the ride quality in my 87 Pontiac GTA

Here's a pic of the old girl ready for action.

Now to find a suitable cart or cabinet w/ casters to get this thing mobile...

If you just need a service cart to mount it on I can probably get you a repoed / used one from my snap on guy for cheap. He sold me a blue point one for $100 a few months ago. Still lifetime warranty. Let me know and I'll give him a call.

Take care,

George

George - I'm multi-tasking... just sent you a text re: your STR - regarding the cart - sounds good - do you need dimensions? Please let me know - thanks!

I'm in North Bergen and I'd be interested in seeing what that diagnostic piece has to say about some recent codes thrown.

Perhaps we could converse on the phone?

Send me a PM and we can exchange phone numbers.

Thanks

Hi, my WDS basically can re-program to factory specs. My WDS has software version 46 - so I can also reflash the TCM and reset adaptions... etc, etc. Adjust suspension height also... going to test both on my 04 XJ8 over the next week or so (as soon as it stays warm enough to get my 6HP26 pan/filter/sleeve and lifeguard 6 fluid installed...

Default Excellent!

Very cool and generous - and that WDS is a nice bit of kit :-)

I am also going to be looking to get another key - my car only came with one viable one!

EDIT - hurrah my dealer - he sent me second key, and following instructions on this board I successfully reprogrammed the fob :-)

Guys, I know a few of you have tried calling me and PM'ing me - I will apologize ahead of time if I didn't get back to you timely as I have been very busy with work.

Best way to contact me is via personal email: a.bonano@hotmail.com or texting me via my cell: 201-238-0316

Just please leave me your name, phone number and MY and what you need to accomplish via my WDS (My WDS works up to 2006 MY's and some 07 MY functions) Some have asked about the WDS Software Version I have loaded: It's 47 (so covers TCM reflashing, etc) it's easier for me to communicate via text/email - this way I don't leave anyone in the lurch with a missed call/voicemail, etc.

Again, I have no problem making my WDS available for my fellow members - best days I am available are Sunday's and Monday's (Monday's work best)

Thanks - Anthony

Default New to the site..

Well, signed up a while ago..but like most, too busy to frequent the site!
After reading Anthony's posts /offer.. have to say, Terrific site and camaraderie here. I've just recommended two other recent Jag owners
(cousins in Scotland) to register.. Looking forward to being part of the community and offering any help.
Anthony, I live in Long Island.. but, IF I'm ever over your way & a few codes pop up? I'll give a holler...
Best regards, Geo
